When reviewing lipid monitors before I decided to but I was skeptical of the accuracy I would obtain. I did several tests including checking against my same day lab tests and the results were excellent. The mail out was next day and arrived in a week which was great.

I like that the meter checks for different values of the lipid profile. I'm not crazy about the lancets that were provided in the kit; I used one that works much better. My issue is getting the pipettes. (I finally found some) I wished the meter required only one or two drops of blood, like the glucose meters. If I want to check my cholesterol every day my fingers would turn blue.

It's a blessing to have these and they are not perfectly accurate, because two readings can scan read somewhat different, I'm mainly disappointed that the price went from $35.00 to $80.00 for 50 strips in a matter of a year from 2025 to 2026.
I've tried a few different glucose meters, but this one is by far the most accurate I've used. The readings consistently match how I'm feeling, and when I test twice in a row, the results are always close. That consistency gives me real peace of mind when making decisions about food or medication.
I also love that it only needs a tiny drop of blood—no more deep finger pricks! The only downside is that the test strips are a bit pricey, but honestly, it's worth it for the accuracy.If you want a meter you can trust, get this one!

I like the simplicity of setting everything up. The meter itself reads lower than the reading they get at the RedCross when I donated platelet on Tuesday. They got a 13.2 reading and my meter at home got a 10.9! That’s a reading that’s 2.3 points lower! I did everything according to instructions! Not sure if there is a way to recalibrate the test meter! Be warned that it will read lower!

Getting the blood to drain down the draw tube was problematic. It wanted to run down the outside of the tube more than inside.
Also I need a test that tells me specifically what my iron level is not just normal or abnormal.
