The day the machine arrived, I wasn’t feeling good. Since the machine is with me, I checked my kidney function and my kidney is not working well. After that moment, i decided to go to the hospital to get checked. The test from the hospital was almost the same as the result i got from the machine. I got admitted for 3 days and was treated for kidney failure. This product was the best purchase i ever had in years.

I'm suffering from chronic kidney disease, I only have one working kidney, and need to keep a close eye on my kidney function. Getting blood test ordered by doctor can be too long in between tests. With this I can monitor, what I consume and how it affects my kidney function. If you take blood pressure medicine , or any prescribed medicine , you should keep an eye on the function of your kidneys . I wish I found this unit 10 years ago. One thing to note, I use a small cup to hold blood droplets, then suck them up with the provided suction tube to get the right level blood. I found it difficult use the suction tube to pull blood pulled on my finger.

At my last annual physical exam, my Creatinine level was HIGH. That resulted in my eGFR [Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate] number being rather LOW. eGFR is a measure of how well my kidneys are filtering my blood of waste products. Creatinine is one of those waste products, and eGFR can be calculated using the blood serum's Creatinine level. My Doctor told me that I needed to improve both my Diet, and Body Hydration. Easier said than done, because I was addicted to Fast Food, and sugary Soda pop. Eventually, I decided that I needed to take better care of myself, and especially, my Kidneys. That meant: following my Doctor's instructions, NO MORE Fast Food, or Soda pop, and MORE Healthy foods, and Water. I wanted to find a way to see the DIFFERENCE that these changes made in my eGFR, and verify that my Kidneys were working as they should. All of the at-home tests, where I would need to send a blood sample, off to a Laboratory, for the Creatinine measurement, were much too expensive. This Renal Function Analysis Meter, and the Test Strips, were reasonably-priced. After the first test, I calculated my eGFR, and it is close to normal. I plan to keep: Eating healthily, Staying well-hydrated, and Checking my eGFR every week. With time, my eGFR should improve even more. At my next annual physical exam, I expect to have some better numbers to show my Doctor. The price of this Renal Function Analysis Meter, and the Test Strips, is a small price to pay, for ensuring that my Kidneys are working properly.

In past I was 70KGS ,I am working on diet t now it goes to 60KGS ,,sometimes junk food is so attractive , struggles ,,, swing.... , I believe you will be better and better becuase you know you can control your body ,,a good chance never late .
The two test Crea and uric acid, are 1-2 point higher as on the lab test which are acceptable for a range I guess. but the Urea is twice the lab test result which cause a concern.
